The 2019-2021 CFAR Adelante application cycle is now closed.
Concept Proposals should be submitted as two separate documents via email to the Adelante Program Coordinator, Allison O’Rourke, at email@example.com. Submissions must include 1) a single word document containing sections 1 through 6 below and 2) a single PDF of the PI biosketch. Margins on the word document should be a standard one-inch all around and all sections should be single spaced. Proposals that do not adhere to word count limits will not be reviewed. Concept Proposals are due January 7, 2019 at 5 pm.
Full Research Proposal (by invitation only)
The full application package should be submitted as a PDF via email to the Adelante Program Coordinator, Allison O’Rourke, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The proposal must be submitted on PHS 398 forms and should follow an NIH investigator initiated grant application (R01) format with the modifications listed in the RFA. (For more resources see: https://www.niaid.nih.gov/grants-contracts/apply-grant).
The Research Plan (Significance through Approach) is limited to four pages (Specific Aims, Mentoring Plan, Future Plans for NIH Funding, Bibliography and References Cited sections do not count toward the page limit). No appendices are allowed. Submit a detailed budget, not a modular budget. Applications must be in English.
